In our world, everything starts at home.

Brandau Bourbon BBQ was born on our family farm…the same one you see on every bottle. It’s where the recipe came together, where long days ended around a full table, and where family dinners weren’t rushed. The sauce you’re holding was shaped right there, between chores, cookouts, and the kind of meals that bring everyone back to the table.

And yes, our toughest critics were close to home. All five of our kids became the official taste testers…sampling batches, offering honest (sometimes brutal) feedback, and helping decide when we finally got it right. If it didn’t pass the test, it went back to the drawing board.

This sauce was made for slow evenings, full plates, and stories that last longer than the meal. It’s meant for backyard grills, Sunday dinners, tailgates, and nights when good food and better company is the excuse to stay a little longer.

We didn’t set out to make just another BBQ sauce. We wanted to bottle a feeling…the kind that comes from home-cooked meals, familiar faces, and recipes passed around instead of written down.
